Dry and hot this afternoon

The next three days

High temperatures this afternoon will be in the mid-90s but once again the humidity will make it feel even hotter than that. Mostly sunny skies for the rest of your Tuesday with little to no rain chance this afternoon.

Wednesday will feature more of the same, but during the afternoon some of us might get lucky enough to see a shower or two.

Tropical Storm Debby is now in Georgia, and will continue to dump rain on the east coast for most of the week and into the weekend.

By Thursday, a cold front will move closer to the Tennessee Valley and bring relief to us, in the form of lower humidity levels.

High temperatures will sit in the low 90s to close the work-week and the upper 80s by this weekend. Overnight lows during the weekend will be comfortable in the 60s.

Our next chance for rain is not until the middle of next week.

TODAY: Sunny, hot, muggy. Highs in the mid-90s. Wind: N 5-10 mph.

TONIGHT: Clear skies. Lows in the low 70s. Wind: Light N.
