Hartselle Police asks for public's help in road rage shooting investigation

Hartselle Police is asking for the public's help in regard to a road rage shooting that happened in Morgan County in November.

The incident happened on Nov. 19 on Interstate 65 northbound between mile markers 318 and 325.

Police say the suspect was in a dark-colored sedan driving northbound on Interstate 65 toward the Priceville/Decatur area. Police are asking for witnesses who were in the area between 6:20 and 6:35 p.m.

“This type of activity is becoming alarmingly frequent and poses a serious threat to our community,†said Sgt. Sheffield. “In this particular incident, the victim was extremely fortunate that the injuries sustained were not fatal, despite being shot multiple times.â€
