Victim identified in deadly Jackson County wreck

Authorities say a Paint Rock man died following a two-vehicle wreck in Jackson County on Wednesday. 

The wreck happened on U.S. 72 near Jackson County 236, five miles west of Woodville, around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. State Troopers identified the victim as 26-year-old Larry D. Parker. 

Investigators say Parker was killed when the vehicle he was driving was truck by another vehicle. Troopers say he wasn't wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck. Parker was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate the wreck.
