Out the door today

Any lingering rain will wind down by mid-morning today. An isolated shower may pop-up later in the afternoon right along a cold front, but most areas will be dry. Temperatures will warm back into the mid to upper 80s.

The rest of next week looks pleasant and mostly dry in the wake of a cold front. Mornings will be comfortable in the 60s. Afternoon temperatures will run mainly in the low to mid 80s.

We could see a few showers late in the day on Wednesday into the early morning hours of Thursday. Better rain chances come in for the start of the next work week.

TODAY: Rain early. Becoming partly cloudy with highs in the mid 80s. Wind: S becoming NW 10-15 mph.

TONIGHT: Calm. Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s. Wind: N 5-10 mph.

Meteorologist

Born and raised in Falkville, Amber is no stranger to the weather we can see in North Alabama. Growing up she was terrified of severe weather, but the older she got the more interested she became with how the atmosphere worked.
