A man accused of sexually abusing a child less than 12 years old is now facing more charges.

According to the Limestone County Sheriff's Office, 72-year-old Nickie Van Davis was served nine additional warrants this week, bringing the total number of charges to 10.

Davis is now charged with three counts of sexual abuse of a child less than 12, six counts of enticing a child for immoral purpose, and one count of indecent exposure.

He was initially charged with one count of sexual abuse of a child less than 12 and faced a $1 million bond earlier this week.

However, the sheriff's office says bond has not yet been set on the additional charges.

Investigators believe his victims were between the ages of 2 and 15, and his offenses may span decades.

As the investigation continues, the sheriff's office says further charges are possible.
