Auburn freshman guard has declared for the NBA Draft.

Pettiford, who told Auburn fans Sunday that he “hopes†to run it back with the Tigers, will be maintaining his NCAA eligibility, according to ESPN.

In a post on X, Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl said “You go show em Tahaad. I wouldn't hesitate drafting you in the first round right now! If they don't, you come back and we run it back!â€

This season, the guard averaged 11.6 points and 3.0 assists in 22.9 minutes per game.

Pettiford scored 20 points or more in six games this season, including a 23-point performance in the Tigers’ second-round win over Creighton.
