MONTGOMERY –Alabama’s All-Star boys’ and girls’ teams have been selected for the 35thannual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Basketball Classic set to be played at Mobile in March.
The two teams were announcedJ.T. Lawrence,Director of the AHSAA’s Alabama High School Athletic Directors & Coaches Association (AHSADCA) today. The teams, consisting of 12 boys and 12 girls, were selected from coaches’ nominations by the AHSADCA All-Star Selection Committee.
This year’s 35thannual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Basketball Classic will be played at the University of South Alabama’s Mitchell Center March 8.
“Once again our selection committee has completed a very difficult task and has done an outstanding job,” said Lawrence. “We had an abundance of talent to choose from thanks to our member school coaches who nominated so many deserving players.”
