California man arrested for drug trafficking after police find him with fentanyl in Â鶹´«Ã½

A California man was arrested in Â鶹´«Ã½ after police say he was found with 4.8 pounds of fentanyl, which is an amount with an estimated street value of $500,000. 

According to the Â鶹´«Ã½ Police Department, Jesus Alberto Ortega Valencia was charged with drug trafficking. 

Ortega Valencia was arrested near Research Park Boulevard and Highway 53 on June 28.

He was booked into the Madison County Jail with his bond set at $1.5 million.

Police say this arrest comes after a lengthy investigation.
