Chargers extend win streak to 28 games, advance to GSC semis

Mick Hedgepeth may only be in his first season with the Chargers, but the GSC Coach of the Year has UAH on a 28-game win streak.

On Tuesday, the Chargers kept things rolling in the GSC quarterfinals with a 86-67 win over Lee at Spragins Hall. 

The squad was led by GSC Player of the Year Tommy Murr, who scored a game-high 26 points.

Blake Campbell added 16 points and 10 boards in a double-double effort.

With the win, UAH advances to the GSC semifinals for the seventh consecutive season -- a streak that started back in 2019. 

The Chargers will face Delta State in Birmingham on Saturday at 5 p.m.
