A Waterloo man faces multiple charges after the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office says they found “a computer that was actively displaying child pornography.”
The sheriff’s office said a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to the execution of a search warrant in the 15,000 block of County Road in Waterloo on Monday.
Jimmy Shook, 67. was charged with five counts of possession of obscene matter containing visual depiction of persons under 17 years of age involved in obscene acts.
He is being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $75,000 bond.
Sheriff Joe Hamilton said he expects more charges to be filed.
