Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Police confirmed Thursday that the FBI is now involved in the search for a missing Realtor.Â
Investigators say Ronald Dumas, Jr., 37, was last heard from on Dec. 15. His car was found on I-40 in Camden, Tennessee, on Dec. 16. Dumas was placed on ALEA's Missing Persons list on Dec. 23.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Police say the investigation into the whereabouts of Dumas is gaining momentum but it's possible resolving the case will take significant amount of time.
Investigators say that on Dec. 16, Dumas' vehicle was impounded and underwent three separate searches. Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Police say multiple agencies conducted searches of the vehicle included including the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Tennessee Highway Patrol but that none of these searches revealed evidence that Dumas was forcibly removed from the vehicle.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Police say they have no reason, or evidence, to suggest that Dumas is in danger or has been abducted at this time.
Investigators say there is security camera footage of Dumas entering a liquor store on University Drive on Dec. 15, accompanied by two women. Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Police say that he was later seen leaving the store with them and didn't appear to be under distress.
The FBI has been consulted to help confirm cell phone location data. The most recent information has his phone track heading south from Memphis, Tennessee, on Dec. 21.
