  • 0

Two men wanted out of Georgia for multiple felonies were caught in Priceville Tuesday.

According to the Priceville Police Department, 26-year-old Demonta Maurice Brown and 26-year-old Travon Marcell Harrison were booked into Morgan County Jail without bond as fugitives from justice.

This comes after, about 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, Priceville police conducted a vehicle stop southbound on Interstate 65 near mile marker 332 for minor traffic violations.

Upon further investigation, police say they determined two occupants of the vehicle had multiple felony warrants for their arrests through multiple agencies in the state of Georgia.

Police say Brown and Harrison had a history of violent crimes, ranging from assault, robberies and burglaries, to weapons and narcotics related charges. They were flagged as having violent tendencies as well as potentially being armed and dangerous.

Both were taken into custody and are pending extradition.
