A Hartselle man was arrested Thursday for Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act violations.
This comes after a Hartselle Police investigator discovered 53-year-old Walter Scott Simpson failed to report required information in his registration, which police say appeared to be intentional. Police say Simpson also did not register within the required timeframe with the Hartselle Police Department.
After authorities obtained warrants for both violations, Simpson was taken to the Morgan County Jail. His bond was revoked for violating bond conditions of a previous SORNA violation arrest.
