**HEAT ADVISORY FROM NOON TO 7PM TUESDAY**
**LEVEL 1/5 SEVERE WEATHER RISK IN EFFECT TUESDAY**
A touch of rain will be in the forecast for far northern Sand Mountain this morning but the true stormy weather threat comes into the forecast shortly after lunchtime today and remains overhead, east of I-65, through dinnertime. Rain and storm coverage won't be especially widespread, however the atmosphere is primed to allow any storms that do form to be on the strong to severe side of things.

The greats storm threats include gusty winds and torrential rain. In addition, our western counties are in a Heat Advisory from 12pm-7pm today ahead of dangerously hot temperatures reaching up to 109 degrees.

Wednesday-Friday bring high temperatures in the upper 90s will "feels like" temperatures remaining in the 100s. A bit of good news? We will finally see the sunshine return!
Saturday and Sunday bring slight breaks in the humidity as a front moves through the area Saturday morning. Isolated showers are possible at that time but sunshine will take over by Saturday afternoon and remain in place through Sunday. Weekend high temperatures will sit in the low 90s.
