Election Day brings mostly cloudy skies to the Tennessee Valley for much of the day. If you're headed to the precincts as the doors first open, expect temperatures in the mid and upper 60s. By lunch time we'll be sitting in the mid-70s, high temperatures today will rise to the upper 70s and it's almost 70 even for your temperature as the polls are closing.

Very isolated rain is in the forecast for just a handful of us this morning and through lunchtime. Almost all of us will stay dry, even those who do catch the rain, expect very light, drizzly, brief showers.
Wednesday brings scattered rain, heavy at times, primarily to our north western and far south eastern counties. Thursday morning brings widespread but again, very light rain that diminishes as we get closer to lunchtime.
High temperatures for the remainder of the week will sit in the 70s. Very low end rain chances stick around through next Monday.
