A Â鶹´«Ã½ man was arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that happened Monday night.
Â鶹´«Ã½ Police arrested and charged Marvin Dequent Kendall, 42, with murder in connection with a shooting that happened on the 2800 block of Turf Avenue around 9 p.m. Monday.
Police say they arrived at the scene to find the victim, Thaddeus Stewart, 33, in the front yard of a home, suffering from a gunshot wound. Steward was taken to the hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries.
According to Â鶹´«Ã½ Police, Kendall was located by the Gulf Coast Regional Task Force and taken to Â鶹´«Ã½ Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division for questioning. Following the interview, they say he was arrested for the charge of murder.
