Madison Academy Advances to Class 1A/3A Girls’ Soccer Finals

HUNTSVILLE – Madison Academy handed Donoho its first defeat of the season and first-year AHSAA member Lee-Scott Academy of Auburn downed Houston Academy as both advanced to Friday’s Class 1A/3A girls’ championship match in the 2025 AHSAA State Soccer Championships.

Regan Boyd managed three goals and Emily Mouser had two goal to lead Madison Academy (13-4-1) to a 5-0 win over Donoho (21-2-0). Boyd and Lilly Killian also had one assist each for the Mustangs, coached by Kelley Murphy.

Donoho, coached by Tim Melton, managed only three shots on goal. Goalkeeper Laralee Church had six saves on goal.

Madison Academy, which will be battling for the school’s first girls’ soccer state title, will face Lee-Scott Academy (16-4-0) in the championship match at 9 a.m., Friday.
