A man faces multiple drug-related charges after a traffic stop turned to a drug bust in Morgan County.

According to Priceville Police, officers made the traffic stop at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on I-65 southbound near mile marker 334.

Priceville Police say a narcotics field investigation began shortly after they made contact with Christopher Alan Jackson, 50, of Sylacauga. Officers say they found a meth/fentanyl mixture, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded firearm inside the vehicle.

According to police, Jackson is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to a felony conviction for assault out of Talladega County.

Jackson was booked into the Morgan County Jail. He's charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm, unlawful possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

A Morgan County Circuit Judge set Jackson's bond at $70,000.
