A man is facing multiple drug-related charges after a months-long investigation.

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, James Hill is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana II, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

This comes after agents with the Lawrence County VICE/Narcotics Unit received multiple complaints regarding drug activity involving Hill.

On Tuesday, agents executed a search warrant on Hill's property located in the Trinity/East Lawrence area.

During a search of the property, deputies say a quantity of methamphetamine (excess of 50g), pills, marijuana, US currency, and drug-related paraphernalia, consistent with selling/distribution of illegal drugs, were located.

Hill was taken into custody without incident and was booked into the Lawrence County Jail.
