A Muscle Shoals man is facing multiple charges after police say he sexually abused a child.
According to Priceville Police, the reported victim was less than 12 years old at the time of the offense.
On May 19, police arrested 36-year-old Rhotee Thompson.
Priceville Police say an investigation into the incident began in December 2021. A case against Thompson was presented to the Morgan County Grand Jury in November 2023. Thompson was charged with attempted rape, enticing a child for immoral purpose, and sexual abuse.
Thompson was booked into the Colbert County Jail and later extradited to the Morgan County Jail where he’s being held on bonds totaling $100,000.
