This weekend is packed with all kinds of family fun all over North Alabama.
Follow the yellow brick road to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz this weekend presented by Fantasy Playhouse. There are several show days and times this weekend and next! You can visit to grab your ticket.
On Saturday at 4 p.m., join the Sci-Fi Family Hike on Green Mountain. A late afternoon hike designed for families with kids ages nine and up to explore some of nature’s fall beauties. Make sure to bring a flashlight and your creativity, as the group might be stitching together its own sci-fi tale. The hike will finish back at the parking lot around nightfall.
Then on Sunday from 1 - 3 p.m., Make A Way’s Fall Festival for the special needs community is taking place! Join for fun games, inflatables, pumpkin patch, trunk or treat, hayride, and more. This event does ask that you register in advance. You can do so on or on .
