UPDATE: Limestone County coroner identifies man killed in house fire Friday

The man who died in a house fire in Limestone County on Friday has been identified. 

Limestone County Coroner Mike West identified the victim as 65-year-old Steve Binford.

West says they were able to identify him using dental records, but the cause of death is pending a toxicology report. 

Firefighters got the call about 4 a.m. Friday morning. The fire happened in the 1900 block of Griffith Road in Tanner.

Alabama State Fire Marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
