COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM CDT...

At 508 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Moores Mill, moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 40 mph or greater and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Maysville, Princeton, Plevna, Moores Mill, Elora, Brownsboro, Larkin,
Francisco, New Market, and Ryland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

UPDATE: Missing person alert cancelled for Florence man

3:57 p.m. Tuesday UPDATE: The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports the endangered and missing person alert for Tyree Veanson has been cancelled.

No other details were released.

From earlier:

The Florence Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating Tyree Veanson.

Police say Veanson is a 22-year-old Black male and may be living with a condition that may impair his judgement.

He was last seen on Tuesday about 8:50 a.m., wearing a white T-shirt with pink Pokémon characters, gray jogging pants, and black shoes in the area of North Patton Street in Florence.
