Pleasant weekend ahead

Beautiful fall weather is ahead for the weekend with a warming trend that will carry us into next week. Rain remains elusive with no wet weather expected for at least the next week and a half.

Look for another clear and chilly night ahead. Frost is unlikely, but temperatures will still dip down into the low 40s.

We'll pick up a few clouds on Saturday, but still expect to see a fair amount of sunshine. Temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 70s for highs. Sunday brings blue sky and sunshine with afternoon highs close to 80.

Next week starts on a warm note. Mornings will remain cool in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Afternoon highs will be in the low 80s Monday climbing into the mid 80s by Wednesday.

A dry cold front will trim temperatures back into the 70s for highs again as we close out the week, but we could be back in he 80s heading into next weekend.

TONIGHT: Clear skies, not as cold. Lows in the lower 40s. Wind: Light E.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy. Warmer. Highs in the upper 70s. Wind: SE 3-6 mph.
