TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama men's basketball team earned a No. 2 seed in the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament and will face No. 15-seeded Robert Morris in the East Region on Friday, March 21. Tipoff is set for 11:40 a.m. CT at the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio and will be televised on truTV.
The winner of Friday’s opening round game will face the winner of No. 7 seed Saint Mary’s and No. 10 seed Vanderbilt.
It marks the 25th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history, with Alabama owning a record of 27-24 (.529). The Crimson Tide are coming off the program’s first-ever appearance in the Final Four last season.

This marks the fifth tournament appearance in Nate Oats' six seasons as the Crimson Tide head coach
It is the first time in program history the Crimson Tide has earned a No. 4 seed or better in the NCAA Tournament in three straight seasons (No. 4 seed in 2024 and No. 1 seed in 2023)
