Prosecutors dropped charges against three Steve Perkins supporters arrested almost five months ago in Decatur.
Decatur City Attorney Herman Marks confirmed prosecutors made the decision earlier this week. The charges were misdemeanors, including resisting arrest.
WAAY was there on April 19 as Decatur Police took protesters into custody during a community event.
The group included Perkins' widow - who was briefly handcuffed but then released without an arrest after Decatur Police Chief Todd Pinion intervened.
Decatur police shot and killed Perkins almost one year ago in his front yard.
The officer charged with murder in his death is set to stand trial later this year.
