Friday will be very warm first thing in the morning. Out-the-door temperatures will rise to near 70. By this afternoon, we will reach a high temperature in the mid-80s with cloudy skies overhead. Scattered rain, primarily along the Alabama-Tennessee state line will develop around dinnertime and last for a few hours.

Due to the spotty nature of the rain, it is not worth cancelling your Friday night plans over, however an umbrella would definitely be a good call.Â
Saturday and Sunday are both sunny and lovely with high temperatures feeling like close to 90.
A cold front moves through next week and plummets our humidity levels to really bring out that crisp autumn air. It also drops morning temperatures to near 50 and high temperatures to the upper 70s.
FRIDAY: Cloudy, PM scattered rain. Highs in the mid-80s. Wind: SE 5 mph.
TONIGHT: Cloudy, rain tapering off. Lows in the mid-60s. Wind: NE 5 mph.
