A Decatur man faces arson charges after police say he set a home on fire Monday.
Police and fire officials responded to the 3900 block of Boxwood Lane SW on Monday and found the home on fire. There was substantial damage to the front of the home.
The home’s security system led police to Jonathan Germain, 36. He was charged with arson and booked in the Morgan County Jail.
Bond was set at $300,000.
