A former Â鶹´«Ã½ JROTC instructor pleaded guilty in court Tuesday to engaging in a sex act with a student.
According to the Â鶹´«Ã½ City School System, Duane Yarbrough was an instructor atÌýLee and New Century Technology high schoolsÌýfrom July 2016 to October 2022.Ìý
Yarbrough was arrested for this sex crime in February 2024. Since this particular crime is aÌýClass B felony, the DA's Office says he could be sentenced anywhere from two to 20 years in prison.
His sentencing hearing is currently set for 9 a.m. on May 5.Ìý
