Friday is hot and it is humid, and those two conditions are not going anywhere! Out-the-door temperatures are in the low 70s but you'll notice the humidity more than the temperatures themselves.

By this afternoon, we will each reach high temperatures well above average and sitting in the mid-90s. Unfortunately, we'll struggle to have any type of breeze today to cool us off.
Both Saturday and Sunday will reach to oppressive humidity levels with high temperatures holding steady in the mid-90s. Spending time on the lake, at the river, or by the pool is going to be a great way to cool off. Staying hydrated in these near 100 degree temperatures is going to be key to avoiding heat related illness.

Monday and Tuesday bring very isolated chances for rain but by Wednesday, I am tracking our next weather-maker. Scattered rain and storms will come into the area in the late afternoon and through the evening bringing some much needed rain.
FRIDAY: Sunny, more humid, hot. Highs in the mid-90s. Wind: ESE 5 mph.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies. Lows in the low 70s. Wind: ENE 5 mph.
