Mother indicted more than a year after newborn baby girl found dead in dumpster

A woman arrested back in 2023 after her baby was found dead in a dumpster has been indicted by a Morgan County grand jury.

According to court documents, Cindy Nicole Crow was indicted for abuse of a corpse in February 2025. 

Crow is accused of putting her newborn baby girl in a trash bag and placing it in the dumpster at the Wally World Mini Mart in the 2500 block of Point Mallard Drive SE.

She was arrested in October 2023 and booked into the Morgan County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
