Home Free Haven in Florence is adding Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 2 -3, to their overnight shelter schedule.

People in need of a warm place to stay overnight during the cold temperatures can meet at The Help Center located at 621 S. Court Street in Florence by 4:30 p.m. The bus departs at 5:45 p.m. to head to the shelter for the night.

Home Free Haven's Winter Shelter program started Nov. 15 and goes through March 15. It's every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They're also open during "emergency nights" when temps drop below freezing.

The nonprofit says it partners with local churches to offer a warm place to sleep, and provides dinner, breakfast, and other supplies and resources.
