Six people were injured Tuesday in a wreck near a daycare in Harvest.

According to Toney Volunteer Fire & Rescue, five of those injured were adults and one was a juvenile.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Jeff Road and McKee Road.

The fire department says three vehicles were involved and one of them ended up hitting the daycare nearby. All occupants of the daycare, including the children and staff members, are accounted for and were uninjured.

An inspector from Madison County’s Building Inspections Department has been requested since one of the vehicles damaged one of the exterior walls of the building.

ALEA will be investigating the incident.

Please avoid the area at this time.
