Waterloo man dead after vehicle strikes ditch, overturns

A Waterloo man is dead after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

ALEA says 62-year-old Jesse A. Fowler was fatally injured when the 2002 Ford F-150 he was driving left the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.

Fowler was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred about 4:50 p.m. on Alabama 20 near Lauderdale County 8, approximately 12 miles north of Florence, in Lauderdale County.
