Â鶹´«Ã½ Animal Services is making it a little easier to bring home a new best friend this Christmas!
Now through Dec. 24, adoption fees on most adult dogs will be waived. The shelter says the goal of the campaign is to place pets into loving homes during one of the most heartwarming times of the year.Â
“Adopting or fostering a pet during the holidays is a meaningful way to bring joy into your home,†said John Fischer, Director of Â鶹´«Ã½ Animal Services. “The holiday season is all about family, and there’s no better time to make a pet part of yours. Fostering, even for a short time, can also make a huge difference in the lives of these animals.â€
The adoptions include up-to-date vaccinations, a microchip for pet identification, spay or neuter surgery, a city license, and a free bag of dry pet food while supplies last.
