As rain falls across North Alabama Tuesday and Wednesday, the Lauderdale County Emergency Management Agency is dealing with some road closures due to flooding.
As of 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, the EMA reports these closures:
- Mitchell Blvd at Hwy 20 underpass
- Mars Hill Road at Rushton Blvd
- CR 31 at CR 36 (slab crossing)
- CR 534 at Slab crossing
- CR 156 at Slab crossing
- CR 502 at Slab crossing
- Turner Lindsey Lane at Slab crossing
- CR 130 at Slab crossing
- CR 520 at CR 522 (slab crossing)
- CR 462 at slab crossing.
- CR 503 at slab crossing
- *Note* All county slab (creek) crossings will remain closed overnight
